Robin Weidhorn, MSW Candidate

I am an MSW Candidate at Yeshiva University’s Wurzweiler School of Social Work. My clinical interests and experience include trauma, attachment, anxiety, and relational dynamics, with a particular focus on how past experiences shape our sense of self, emotional patterns, and ways of relating to others.

I came to this work with decades of real-world experience in nonprofit leadership, advocacy, and community engagement.

I draw on a broad range of professional and life experiences to connect with clients and support them in navigating their individual paths.

Grounded in warmth, curiosity, and collaboration, my approach centers on personal growth. I believe therapy can help people understand the patterns that keep them stuck and experience themselves in new ways. I am especially interested in helping clients build self-awareness, tolerate vulnerability and uncertainty, develop greater flexibility, and strengthen their sense of agency.

I bring a lifelong interest in athletics, movement, mindfulness, and the connection between mind and body. I believe meaningful change happens both inside and outside the therapy room, and I hope to help clients discover new ways of engaging with themselves, their relationships, and their lives.
